The Marlies’ Erik Källgren is the latest goalkeeper in the Maple Leafs organization to be injured indefinitely from a concussion suffered in Wednesday’s game against Laval. Keith Petruzzelli was called up by the AHL club of Newfoundland Growlers of the East Coast League.
The Leafs were already thin at the net with Petr Mrázek out with a groin injury for the second time this season. Prospect Ian Scott, also out with a groin injury, is still nearing a comeback. With Källgren added to the roster, that leaves rookie Joseph Woll, current backup Jack Campbell, and veteran Michael Hutchinson second and third on the depth chart.
