Laval police have approached the public in an effort to locate two suspects in connection with a fire that was deliberately set in the city’s Ste-Dorothée district on December 6.

Police say the incident occurred around 10:50 p.m. in the lobby of an apartment block. Surveillance cameras captured images of two men placing an “incendiary device” in an apartment in the complex.

Both suspects are black men who speak French. One is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds. He is seen wearing a navy blue sweater and matching pants with the Nike logo. He wears blue and white shoes.

The second suspect is 5ft 7in, 150lbs and wore a black coat, black pants, and black and white shoes.
