Allan Sanderson, a 36-year-old wanted man, has been arrested in connection with a serious incident that occurred on June 19, 2022.

Sanderson was originally charged with obstruction and unauthorized possession of a firearm in a vehicle after the RCMP issued a public safety alert due to two men in the La Ronge area with guns. The alert indicated that shots had been fired at the police.

Police have been searching for him since the arrest warrant was issued on June 20, 2022.

Officers received information on Sanderson’s location before approaching the suspect vehicle at a business on Highway 2 in La Ronge.

Sanderson was found hiding under a blanket in the back seat of the vehicle. He was arrested at approximately 12:45 pm and an illegally modified loaded firearm was found during a vehicle search.

“The La Ronge RCMP is very appreciative of all the assistance we have received from the community, from following police directions during the June 19 incident to passing on information that has helped move the investigation forward,” said Sgt. of the RCMP of La Ronge. Brent Nicholas.

“Our community is safer when we have this productive and collaborative relationship between residents and police.”

Sanderson is expected to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on July 7, 2022. An investigation has been launched into the firearm seized from the vehicle he was in.

Terrance Daigneault and Nikeyta Bradfield were also arrested in connection with this incident on June 22, 2022.

Daigneault is expected to appear before La Ronge Provincial Court on July 7, 2022 on 11 counts including two counts of attempted murder.

Bradfield is also expected to appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on August 8, 2022 on two counts of accessory to attempted murder with a firearm.

The La Ronge RCMP continues to search for 22-year-old Celine Charles.

Charles was charged with one count of obstruction in connection with the same incident that occurred on June 19, 2022.

Celine is described as being five feet four inches tall and 112 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She has a rose tattoo on her left hand, a heart and flames tattoo on her left arm and “Charles” tattooed on her chest.
