The pair undergo the mandatory 14 days of quarantine that all international travelers arriving in Australia must currently go through after Kyrgios returned home after competing in the Laver Cup in Boston.

On Thursday, the couple faced a dispute on social media that clearly escalated.

“On the afternoon of Thursday, October 7, 2021, the police were alerted to a verbal argument between two occupants inside a Medi-hotel,” said a South Australian Police spokesman.

“An investigation was carried out, no crimes were revealed and now both parties will spend the rest of their quarantine in separate rooms.”

Kyrgios, a former Grand Slam quarter-finalist who is now ranked 97 in the world, reached the third round at the Australian Open and Wimbledon this year, but has only managed one win in five tournaments since then.
