Kriptos, EVA and Moova were the startups of the week


The three companies that make up the list of startups of the week raised equity rounds Recently. 1) Cryptos raises 3.1 million dollars to classify the information of companies

Kriptos is a startup created in the United States by Latin American entrepreneurs. It is dedicated to classifying company information to protect it according to its degree of confidentiality. The Kriptos platform, software as a service or SaaSallows you to inspect millions of documents completely automatically, using artificial intelligence techniques, and determine if the information they contain is relevant to your customers.

  • The round was led by Act One Ventures and investors such as Compu Soluciones Ventures, BuenTrip Ventures, SVLA Venture Capital, to name a few.
  • The startup has classified more than 160 million documents and for this year it seeks to exceed 1,000 million automatically classified documents.
  • The objective of this round is to make 80 corporations from Latin America and the United States use your tool.

2) Eva raises 7 million dollars to expand in Latin America

Despite his young age, Julian Rios is a veteran of entrepreneurship in Mexico. A few years ago he developed the Eva bra, with which he sought to make it easier for women to detect if they have breast cancer. His product evolved to found EVA clinics where women could go for a test to detect this type of cancer through thermographic measurement. Now, Julián has developed Eva PACS, a technology that manages and stores radiological studies in the cloud.

  • Eva will receive $7 million in a round led by MBX, TeleSoft Partners and Browder Capital.
  • The platform allows specialists to see, analyze, make reports and send the results to patients and their doctors through mail or even WhatsApp.
  • The resources will be used to grow the current team by 30% and expand the company’s operations to Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Chile.

3) Moova raises 10 million and consolidates Mexico as its main market

The Argentine logistics platform Moova raised 10 million dollars to start operating in more cities, mainly Mexican. The company is dedicated to sustainable logisticssince its technology allows generating delivery tours that optimize delivery while reducing the carbon footprint of its customers.

  • Movile, Alaya Capital, FJ Labs, Wayra Telefónica, Matterscale, Kalei Ventures, IThink, Parser Digital, Reflect Ventures, Murchinson VC, Insudpharma, Cosmen Family Office / National Express, and Tasa Logística, among others, participated in the round.
  • It currently has operations centers in Argentina and Spain and counts among its clients Mercado Pago, Mercado Libre, Ualá, Sugo and Linio.
  • The objective of the financing is to expand coverage in Mexico to Puebla and Querétaro; as well as continue its expansion in the region.
