The Kingston Frontenacs will play in front of fans at Leon’s Center for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic was declared.

The OHL team will face the Ottawa 67 in a preseason exhibition game this Saturday.

Only 1,000 fully vaccinated people will be able to watch the game on the track due to restrictions under Stage 3 of Ontario’s reopening plan. Proof of vaccination, photo ID and a mandatory mask will be required upon entry.

“We are giving our members with season tickets 2021-22 the first right to refuse to attend our exhibition games. If limited tickets are available, the general public will have the opportunity to purchase the remaining tickets before each next home exhibition game, ”the Frontenacs said in a press release Tuesday.

The team hopes to welcome a full stadium by October 8, when they will play again against the 67 from Ottawa.
