Just in time for the first snowfall of the season, hundreds of snow suits were delivered on Monday as part of Corus Entertainment Kingston’s “Children’s Clothing” campaign.

The children’s snow suits were delivered to Molly Brant Public School on Monday morning.

Molly Brant is the pickup location for all schools within the Limestone District School Board in Kingston.

The campaign is providing 1,400 snow suits to local children in the Kingston area this year, more than 300 received in previous years.

However, organizers say that just because the snow suits have started to be delivered does not mean the fundraising campaign is over.

“The costumes are delivered, but we have yet to finish paying for them,” said Peter Mayhew, sales manager for Corus Entertainment Kingston.

“So anytime you want to visit any KCCU, the Cataraqui Center, our studios, or our gofundme site, make a donation of $ 65 and you will purchase one of these suites.

“We really encourage the public to help again this year. We need a little more help than we had in the past, ”he added.
