The international movement arrives in Catalonia to claim more public space for bicycles
Barcelona will celebrate for the first time this Sunday the Kidical Massa popular bike ride that claims safe environments so that the little ones can cycling.
According to the organization itself in their website, the initiative has managed to reach more than 100 cities in the United States and Europe. In the specific case of the Catalan capital, cyclists are expected to cycle through various streets of the Eixample.
The day will be completed with activities and workshops that will be held in the Joan Miró Park throughout the morning.

As reported by Kidical Mass, the bike ride will be carried out by the road, in a safe way Y as part of the traffic, so it is not planned that cuts will be made on the tracks. Yes, there will probably be moments of slowness due to the number of cycles in circulation.
The march will start on Sunday, May 15 at 11:30 a.m. in the Joan Miró park. The participants will go towards Plaza España through Tarragona street, to later go along Paral·lel to Calàbria street. Further on, cyclists will pass through Floridablanca and Comte d’Urgell streets until they reach Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. Once there, the final part of the route will take you through Aribau, Aragó and, finally, Vilamarí street. Will be made stops along the way to regroup participants.
