The singer and composer from Oviedo Fran Juesas joins the “Great Solidarity Challenge & rdquor; released by Editorial Prensa Ibéricathe business group that owns La Nueva España, and Endesa Music Lovers to reassemble the components of The Dream of Morpheus in a great benefit concert for the island of La Palma, in the Canary Islands, and to support its inhabitants in their efforts to overcome the consequences of the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano.
Juesas encourages Raquel del Rosario, David Feito and Juan Luis Suárez, the three members of the group, to “get together for a good cause & rdquor ;, declares himself a fan of his music and ensures that his followers are looking forward to “seeing them on stage singing together & rdquor ;.
Juesas, who is immersed these days in the promotion of his new album, ‘El resto del camino’, acknowledges the merit of El Sueño de Morfeo, which “got something very difficulthow is it that from a province as small as Asturias he is known and recognized abroad & rdquor ;.
The Asturian band, Juesas highlights, knew how to “take away the roots of Asturias” and mix it with power pop, with sounds of bagpipes, with sounds of traditional instruments… What they have done is very important”.
The musician from Oviedo joins the campaign for the return of El Sueño de Morfeo with a video, which from today will be broadcast through social networks, and which closes with his particular version of one of his favorite songs from the group, ‘ Nunca will return’, 2005.
