Inbursa’s profit grew by 65% ​​in 2021

Grupo Financiero Inbursa recorded a profit of 20.925 million pesos in 2021, 65% more than the 12.695 million achieved in the previous year.

The institution explained that said result is explained by a lower cost of risk and general expenses, as well as income from subsidiaries and mediation results.

He pointed to a lower level of reserves compared to 2020, when additional estimates were generated to address the risks of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Inbursa set out to increase its credit portfolio by 11% in 2021, from 228,443 million pesos in December 2020 to 253,439 million in the same month last year.

The increase is explained, he explained, by a 19% growth in the commercial portfolio.

In terms of the quality of the portfolio, he specified that the Past Due Portfolio Index stood at 1.4% in 2021.

“It is important to mention that Inbursa did not take any accounting advantage to defer payments for the credit restructuring,” he emphasized.

In terms of retail deposits, he pointed out that in 2021 it stood at 195.444 million pesos, a growth of 10% compared to 2020.

At the end of last December, its capitalization index (ICAP) stood at 21.4 percent.
