IMF renews a flexible credit line for Mexico for 50,000 million dollars

The executive board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) renewed the Flexible Credit Line (LCF) for Mexico, about $ 50 billion, for two more years, reported the agency.

The previous LCF with the IMF had a value of around $ 61 billion and Mexico has expressed its desire to request a further reduction in access at the mid-term review next year, the IMF added.

The Mexican Foreign Exchange Commission, for its part, assured that the measure constitutes recognition of the solidity of the institutional framework of macroeconomic policies in the country.
