Police have released body camera footage of the Oxide film set, including a video of actor Alec Baldwin moments after the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

On Monday, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office released “all files associated with our ongoing investigation.” This included several photos and videos from October 2021, when Hutchins was struck and killed by a 64-year-old Baldwin gunshot containing a “live round.” Rust writer-director Joel Souza was also injured in the incident.

The shooting occurred while Baldwin was practicing with what he believed to be a safe weapon.

In muted rehearsal footage released by police, Baldwin is seen quickly drawing and aiming a F.lli Pietta 45 Long Colt revolver, the same weapon that later misfired.

A video of a visibly distraught Baldwin speaking to an officer in his cowboy costume was also posted. In the footage from just minutes after the shooting, the officer asks if Baldwin is okay, to which he replies, “No, I’m not really.”

Baldwin, in the video, confirms to the officers: “I was the one holding the gun, yes.” He continues to cooperate with the police despite his nervous state, saying, “My hands are shaking.”

The actor asks authorities how Hutchins is doing and is told “his condition is questionable.”

Later, crime scene technicians took photos of Baldwin in his costume as evidence.

Separate body camera footage of Oxide gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez Reed it was made publicin which he tells the authorities: “Welcome to the worst day of my life.”

Gutiérrez was responsible for the maintenance and supply of weapons on the film set.

In the minutes after the shooting, Gutierrez tells police that she is the gunsmith in the film, adding, “Or at least she was.” Later, when an officer escorts her to the bathroom, Gutierrez says, “I can’t believe Alec Baldwin was holding the gun. That’s so fucked up.”

Gutierrez also tells the officer that he wants to be away from his co-workers, saying, “I just want to get the hell out of here and never show my face in this industry again.”

“I’m the only female gunsmith in the game and I screwed up my entire career,” she says in the video.

Also included were emails and messages from Gutiérrez along with photographic and video evidence of the Oxide place. In a message, Gutierrez asks a supplier for live ammunition for a separate movie from months before.

The Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office has not filed criminal charges in connection with the incident at this time.
