The number of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 in Quebec dropped for the fifth day in a row on Sunday.

Seventy fewer patients are in hospital now than on Saturday, for a total of 2,182.
Of those patients, 75 are in intensive care—an increase of one.
A day after Quebec reached the grim milestone of 15,000 COVID-19 deaths, the province reported six additional deaths.
Quebec has reported more deaths than any other province during the pandemic and also has the country’s highest death rate.
Additionally, the province announced that a further 1,100 cases had been confirmed through PCR testing at its clinics. Insofar as this method of testing is not accessible to most Quebecers, the case numbers are not wholly representative of the situation in the province. But the number of confirmed active cases among those eligible for PCR testing has more than halved in the last 10 days.
