Homicide Unit Investigates After Pickering Shooting Left Man Dead | The Canadian News

Durham Regional Police say a man was killed and two people were arrested after a shooting in Pickering Monday night.

Police said the shooting was reported at a townhouse complex on Dragonfly Avenue, near Taunton Road and Sideline 26, around 11:31 p.m.

Acting Sgt. George Tudos said a man was found dead as a result of gunshot wounds.

Two people, an adult and a minor, were arrested in connection with the shooting, Tudos said. There are no pending suspects.

He said there were other people inside the residence.

“This appears to be an isolated incident,” Tudos said. “It is believed that we have the people we were looking for in custody.”

Investigators did not reveal the age or identity of the victim.
