Highway 7 rollover east of Peterborough leads to drunk driving arrest: OPP – Peterborough | The Canadian News

A woman from Prince Edward County, Ontario, was charged with drunk driving after a rollover on Highway 7 east of Peterborough early Friday morning.

Around 12:45 a.m., Peterborough County OPP officers responded to an accident on Highway 7 in Asphodel-Norwood Township. Police say the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled over and was found on the roof when officers arrived at the scene.

No injuries were reported. Police determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Rebecca Cronkwright, 31, of Prince Edward County, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (blood alcohol concentration of 80 or higher).

She was released and is scheduled to appear in court in Peterborough on February 1, 2022, the OPP said.
