With the Maple Leafs poised to potentially advance beyond the first round of the playoffs for the first time in 18 years with a win on Saturday, it’s not surprising that ticket prices for the big game are through the roof.

The two-time defending Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning will be at Scotiabank Arena for Game 7 Saturday and if fans want to be in the building too they will have to pay up.
As of Friday afternoon, Ticketmaster.ca was offering a pair of tickets for $458.44 each as its cheapest option. If you had about $25,000 to spare, the best available seats could be had for just over $12,000 apiece to sit in section 108, Row 1, at center ice.

If you were okay with being a bit beside center ice (but still in Row 1), tickets were available for just over $3,000 each.
to search on Stubhub.ca had seats in the balcony going for over $500 a pop if you wanted to go “cheap” and for $9,196 each for Row 2 of section 108.
Imagine what prices will be if the Leafs actually win Saturday and find themselves in a similar spot later in the playoffs?
