Here’s what you can eat at Scotiabank Arena’s new food stalls

The Scotiabank Arena is getting ready to open its doors to Raptors and Leafs fans alike, and with it, a host of new concession stands with food that’s sure to make your mouth water.

There are 11 new booths set to set up in the arena this year, some of which are backed by well-known local chefs and restaurants (including a chef who recently earned a Michelin star).

Here’s a roundup of the restaurants making their arena debuts and some of the food you can eat the next time you hit the stands here.

ALOETTE

Patrick Kriss, the chef behind Aloette and the Alo recently minted by Michelinwill be opening a booth on the events level of the Scotiabank Arena, by section 106.

If you’re looking for an elevated version of a pulled pork sandwich, Aloette has a slow-cooked baby back rib sandwich on the menu. Smothered in a tangy barbecue sauce and topped with pickled cucumbers, pickled onions, and a side of coleslaw, diners can’t go wrong.

CHERRY ST. barbecue

Those at level 300 can look for some hearty burgers in Section 311. Pit Master Lawrence Pianta is serving up a double-stack burger, which comes with two ground patties, brisket and a “secret sauce.”

CHUNGCHUN RICE DOG

Ditch the plain corndogs for one of these South Korean rice dogs, which open in Section 307. Cheese lovers can opt for a panko-crusted crispy mozzarella stick that they say is “perfect for that big cheese pull”.

There is also the Gamsung Potato Dog, which is a fried dog with beef and chicken rice topped with crispy golden potatoes.

SUSHI

Can’t decide between sushi or a burrito? EDO Sushi in sections 102 and 105, serves a mix of both with their Big Shrimp Sushi Burrito, a nori-wrapped sushi rice burrito filled with sweet-marinated tiger shrimp and drizzled with spicy wasabi mayonnaise.

GRAINS AND VEGETABLES

An MLSE concept stall, diners can grab hearty bowls of food at this concession stand in section 101. There’s the Korean Beef Bowl, which comes with soy-glazed beef, sprouts, seedlings and kimchi, or the salad G&G Grains with Cherry Tomatoes, Roasted Butternut Squash, Cucumbers and Pumpkin Seeds, both served over slow-cooked Ancient Grains.

MAC AND CHEESE BOUTIQUE

Those looking for some comfort food but with an elevated twist can try the New Classic Mac and Cheese at this concession stand in section 103. This staple is packed with three types of cheese: Australian mozzarella, Canadian cheddar and gouda truffle. .

NOODLES AND BAO

Those who want bao can head to MLSE’s Noodle & Bay in section 106. One of the baos on their menu comes with karaage fried chicken thigh, drizzled with spicy sesame dressing and topped with pickled Korean vegetables.

St. Patties

Food Scotiabank ArenaGrilled cheese lovers may want to head to St. Patties in section 121. The grilled cheeseburger is fast-food decadence at its finest, as it’s a squashed burger served between two sandwiches. of grilled cheese as buns.

TECOLOTE

Elia Herrera, the former chef of Los Colibris, comes to the arena to serve some tacos. The Adobe Beef Taco is based on a slow-cooked family recipe created in Veracruz, Mexico.

THE POUTINERY

This new booth conceived by MLSE opens its doors on the 100 and 300 levels in section 120 and section 320. There are also unique items on The Poutinerie menu, such as Pierogi Poutine, which serves their classic poutine but instead comes covered with smoked bacon and mini cheddar cheese pierogis.

EVIL CARIBBEAN

Formerly known as Leela’s Roti, Wicked Carib serves up some Caribbean fare in the 110 section. Vegans can opt for some Jerk Fritters, served in a creamy house jerk sauce, while meat lovers can feast on the Jerk Chicken Sandwich.
