Heat fans can’t stop talking about Kyle Lowry. Raptors fans don’t want to hear it

It didn’t take long for Kyle Lowry to win over Miami Heat fans.

After just a couple of preseason games, the former Toronto Raptors guard and fan favorite has made a big impression on South Beach.

If the social media backlash is any indication, Lowry, who signed a three-year, $ 90 million (US) deal with the Heat last offseason, has had no trouble adjusting to a new team and a new city.

The transition appears to be difficult for Raptors fans as they watch from afar as Heat supporters tweet about their new point guard. Lowry helped bring a championship to Toronto and is widely viewed as the greatest Raptor of all time.

So while Heat fans tweeted things like, “Spoelstra made Kyle Lowry look like the best Steve Nash,” Raptors fans were left saying, “Is this a joke?”
