Health recommends limiting the number of people at Christmas celebrations

The Ministry of Health has recommended limit the number of participants in “public and social events”, especially during the celebrations of the Christmas holidays, as well as intensify control and monitoring measures for people from southern Africa.

This is advised by the Center for Coordination of Health Alerts and Emergencies (CCAES) in the sixth update of the document in which it evaluates the risk of Sars-CoV-2 variants, in which it indicates that “the risk of new introductions of omicron in Spain is considered very high and that of dissemination, high”.
