The report ‘La Salut a Barcelona 2020’ concludes that the pandemic has had a very important negative impact on mental health of the population at all ages, but especially in women. The data provide other disturbing indicators, such as the high delay in diagnosing serious diseases: diagnoses of chronic diseases fell by 39% and anxiety disorders by up to 7.9%.
