HDI Seguros inaugurates its new campus in León

Leon, Gto. In order to strengthen its operation and increase its presence in the different cities of the country, HDI Insurance inaugurated its new corporate campus in the city of Lion, Guanajuato.

At the event, the CEO of HDI Insurance Mexico, Juan Ignacio González, explained that the investment is 22.5 million dollars.

“The HDI corporate campus will be the spearhead that will allow us to work in a more agile way in each of our offices, in order to continue providing innovative solutions that exceed the expectations of our collaborators, agents and policyholders,” he said.

The manager explained that despite the pandemic, the company has shown strength and therefore decided to continue with its expansion operations for the different Mexican regions.

For his part, Guillermo Romero Pacheco, the head of the León municipality’s Directorate of Economy, indicated that this investment is positive because it also helps the economic reactivation of this industrial city.

This investment also helps during times of economic recovery (…) If there is no economic growth, there can be no social development, seeking investment is the best way to influence a state ”, he stressed.

He elaborated that as a municipality they will continue working to continue attracting foreign capital, especially those of European origin, such as HDI.

According to Ignacio González, the new campus was built on an area of ​​42,687 square meters.

It was also executed under four guidelines, the first is sustainability, which consists of having the EDGE certification and which guarantees savings in water and electricity.

“The emission of 108 tons of CO2 per year is reduced (…) The new campus reduces electricity consumption by 20% and water use is reduced by 20%,” said the manager.

The second axis is horizontality, which seeks the well-being of employees (there is a gym, breastfeeding room, auditorium, dining room); the third axis is that of smart spaces, that there are spaces to promote better collaboration with specialized areas.

Meanwhile, the fourth guideline is digital, which is based on the use of technology to speed up response times in daily operations.

Since its arrival in Mexico in 2009, it has been one of the fastest growing insurers nationwide.

It is the fifth most important insurer in the automobile industry, according to the Mexican Association of Insurance Institutions.
