Halifax Police Charge 3 Men For Theft of Firearms From Dartmouth Business – Halifax | The Canadian News

Halifax Regional Police charged three men with stealing firearms from a Dartmouth business last month.

In a statement, police said officers responded to an alarm at the Nova Scotia Tactical on Windmill Road around 3:45 a.m. on November 25.

“The suspects broke into the business and stole several firearms. The suspects fled before officers arrived on the scene, ”the statement said.

Police say that as a result of the investigation, three men have been arrested.

Alexander Paul MacDougall, 26, Tyrell Ramone Beals, 34, and Tremaine Daniel Colley, 39, have been charged with:

  • Break and enter to steal firearms
  • Mischief (property damage)
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm (16 counts)
  • Possession of a firearm knowing that it is not authorized (16 counts)
  • Firearms trafficking (16 counts)
  • Transferring a firearm without authorization (16 counts)

The statement said Beals and Colley also face 16 counts each of possession of a firearm against a court order.

Police say the stolen firearms have yet to be recovered.
