The Guelph Storm ended their November schedule with a four-game winning streak following a 7-3 win over the Erie Otters on Sunday.

Jacob Maillet scored two goals and Matthew Poitras had one goal and one assist, while Owen Bennett parried 20 shots in the victory at Sleeman Center.

Chase Coughlan, Danny Zhilkin, Cooper Walker and Daniil Chayka also scored for the Storm.

The Storm were perfect over the weekend despite having to play three games in three days. On Friday, Guelph beat the London Knights 3-2 before heading to Erie, where they posted another 3-2 win over the Otters.

Sunday’s rematch against Erie marked the fourth time this season that Guelph has scored six or more goals against opponents.

Guelph finished the month with eight wins and just three losses, including a loss in a shootout. His record for the season is 13-6-1-1, good enough for second place in the OHL Western Conference behind the Knights.

The storm begins December with a trip to Sault Ste. Marie on Friday to face the Greyhounds before traveling to Saginaw on Saturday for a game against Spirit.
