Governor Rocha promotes inclusion in the current educational model

Culiacán, Sinaloa, June 21, 2022.- In his capacity as President of the State System for the Comprehensive Protection of the Rights of Children and Adolescents, Governor Rubén Rocha Moya presided this Tuesday the second ordinary session of the System, in the that in addition to providing follow-up to the agreements of the first session, the activity report for the period December 2021 to May 2022 was presented by Nuria Alejandra González Elizalde, Executive Secretary of SIPINNA Sinaloa.

Rocha Moya took advantage of this session to swear in Irving Salazar Gaxiola and Martha Patricia Aldana Félix, representatives of the Fundación Sociedad Educadora de Sinaloa and the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Sinaloa, respectively, as new members of the System.

After listening carefully to the speeches of the minors María de Jesús Olguín Félix, Iker Santiago Millán Quintero and Jesús Santiago Oceguera Jiménez, who suffer from different disabilities, the Governor highlighted the importance of inclusion in the current educational model, a concept that due to its transcendence , was raised to a constitutional level in the recent educational reform.

When rendering her report, Nuria Alejandra González, emphasized the installation of the 18 municipal systems with the aim of laying the foundations for the guarantee of the full exercise, respect, protection and dissemination of the rights of children and adolescents, accompanying the Mayors and Mayoresses in this work.

“It has been a job without a doubt satisfactory because the message that all the presidents and municipal presidents send you, Governor, is that they are added to your project of a Sinaloa with a Social Sense, in which a fundamental part is the integral development of the people in stages of childhood and adolescence,” said the Executive Secretary.

Nuria González concluded by detailing the promotion and dissemination work on the rights of children and adolescents, inter-institutional linkage and coordination, the signing of collaboration agreements with institutions and organizations of civil society, the creation of the Criminal Justice Commission for Adolescents and the preparation of a bill to reform the Law on the Rights of Children and Adolescents and the Family Code.

This important event was attended by María Constanza Tort San Román, in charge of the office of the Executive Secretariat of the National System for the Comprehensive Protection of Children and Adolescents, who witnessed the progress made, in addition to Enrique Inzunza Cázares, Secretary General of the Government , Juan de Dios Gámez Mendívil, Mayor of Culiacán, as well as municipal officials and presidents of various municipalities.
