Monterey, NL. The Governor of New LionSamuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, met with authorities of the Texas Department of Transportationin the city of Austin, to present the Highway Master Plan, whose objective is to facilitate transport mobility, as well as connectivity with the Texas state.
The president explained that with these works the travel time will be reduced for those who travel through La Gloria-Colombia and seek to reach Texasas well as for those who pass through the Interserrana highway and the Bypass of the Metropolitan Area of Monterrey.
With this plan we can ensure that they are going to spend half the time passing through Nuevo León, and we are going to reduce it to an hour and a half, all of this makes sense, because we are trying to connect (faster) with Texas and let them know that in one year we will finish the highway and pay for its modernization”, affirmed the governor.
He added that in two years they will finish the second highway and in three years the southern highway and in five years the three highways will be ready.
García Sepúlveda stressed that Nuevo León has been receiving more and more for around 11 years. foreign direct investment (FDI), so the 14-kilometre border that it shares with Texas has the potential to benefit both entities.
