Government of Nuevo León awards TICSA the lease of 800 urban trucks

Monterrey, NL. The Ministry of Mobility awarded a consortium represented by Thousand International Companies (TICSA), for the hiring of the full service leasing service of 800 buses for urban public transport, because it was the lowest economic proposal, for 3,936 million pesos.

Hernán Villarreal Rodríguez, Secretary of Mobility of New Lion, assured that TICSA has experience and complies with the technical standard, since it made a consortium with the financial company Attendo and with Jeca Mobility, who offered a rental cost of 71,000 pesos per month plus VAT, well below the estimate made by the authority of 88,000 pesos a month, he stressed.

“It is a consortium of companies. A leasing company is part of a consortium, the bus manufacturer, it is the third largest assembly company in China (It’s called Ankai), and one of the companies is the distributor, with the capacity to distribute 30,000 trucks a year, ”said the official.

The page of TICSA mentions that the company is a leader in telecommunications, video surveillance solutions, specialized security software, physical security, crane rental and manufacture of arms for cameras.

On the other hand, the official was asked if they will increase the rates of the public transport, because a down payment and the monthly rental payment must be covered, he mentioned: “we are not talking about the increase in rates, the costs in the restructuring of transportation are reliable and we are going to ensure that there are no increases in rates”, Indian.

He announced that in March 2022 the tender for the operation of the 800 units will be launched, which are first-world, with air conditioning and low-polluting fuels, “the units we have (here) are for livestock” .

The official assured that they have a broad participation of carriers, and that they have a letter from the Public Transport Association of New Lion where they commit to participate in the projects, “possibly there would be a dissident, but it is not the majority,” he stressed.
