‘Got Talent’ begins its semifinals tonight with Jesús Calleja as guest jury

The seventh edition of ‘Got Talent Spain’ premieres tonight, at 10pm, its semifinal phase. This time, Jesús Calleja will be a judge for a day with Edurne, Dani Martínez and Risto Mejide and will participate in the joint Golden Pass that will take a direct semifinalist to the Grand Final, something never seen in previous editions.

“I went without knowing exactly what I was going to do, believing that I was only going to visit my compatriot from León, Dani Martínez, that there has never been a way to take him to ‘Planeta Calleja’ and I was going to pressure him to take away the commitment to come to Program. This is how I became, without knowing it, the fourth jury of ‘Got Talent Spain & rdquor ;, comments Jesús Calleja.

About his experience on the show, Cuatro’s host adds: I felt very wrapped up, we had a great time and nothing happened as it should because things got out of hand in a very funny way. My presence there is going to make people talk. Nobody knows because I have never told it, but ‘Got Talent Spain’ is my favorite TV show. Whenever I can I watch it and when I’m out I record them all. The experience was extraordinary just for being there with Dani, a great friend of mine, although everyone who is there is friends: Santi Millán has been with me twice, once climbing the Matterhorn in ‘Extreme Challenge’ and another in Ethiopia with ‘Planeta Calleja ‘; Risto has been diving with me in South Africa watching great white sharks; and Edurne came to Tanzania and there we climbed an active volcano & rdquor ;.

14 semi-finalists and three qualified in each semi-final

Throughout the next four galas, 56 artists will perform: the 10 Golden Passes of the Auditions and 46 chosen by the judges in their famous ‘Selection Day’ among those who had at least two yeses. In each semifinal there will be 14 contestants. The jury will have the possibility to give a Golden Pass to take one of them to the final phase; the public on set will vote from a mobile device for their three favorites and the one that receives the most support will also be classified automatically; Between the second and third most voted applicants, the judges will decide again who goes to the Grand Final, and if there is a tie or disparity of criteria, the public vote will prevail.

In this way, at the end of the Semifinals, 12 artists will have qualified for the Grand Final, in which exclusively the public will choose the winner of the contest and the 25,000 euro prize.
