The SPCA says the rehab center will fill a “critical and significant gap” in current services by addressing the individualized needs of the most difficult-to-adopt dogs – dogs that need more care and support than an animal center can provide.

The rehab center will have unique features such as a real family living room to help dogs that have never lived indoors practice their home environment to prepare them for adoption.
