Gatineau: a 13-year-old missing

The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) is asking for the public’s help in locating Augustin Bertoli, a 13-year-old boy who has been missing since late Thursday afternoon.

The young man who measures 1.70m (5 feet, 6 inches) was last seen as he left his residence located in the Parc Champlain neighborhood in the Aylmer sector.

He then wore brown shorts, a blue short-sleeved shirt with brown stripes, sandals and a pink backpack.

Augustin Bertoli has brown eyes and short brown hair. The teenager had left his home with a red and white bicycle. He was wearing his bicycle helmet with flames.

The authorities believe, however, that the young man could move on foot. He likes to walk in the forest. The police do not rule out the possibility that he got lost in the woods.

Citizens who believe they see it are asked to contact the SPVG immediately at 819 246-0222.
