France intercepts a Russian freighter in the English Channel for violating the sanctions imposed by the EU

The french navy has intercepted in waters of the English Channel a freighter that was heading to St. Petersburg on suspicion that it could be incurring a violation of the sanctions adopted this week by the EU, as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
