FOX Announces Stunning Tom Brady Post-Retirement Concert

The immortal Tom Brady of the New England Patriots fooled us all when he announced that he would return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 2022 NFL season. Although he will return to the league for another year, retirement cannot be just around the corner.

As he gets into the movie production business and has his own line of TB12 merchandise to sell, Brady’s next step still seemed unclear when it came to life after football. It would feel strange to see Brady selling NFTs and remaining out of touch with the sport he loves.

While there were rumors that he could move into the executive arena with the Dolphins, Brady never closed the door on an analyst or broadcast trip. All the Patriots fans who wished Brady was in the broadcast booth can finally get his wish.

Brady has finally made up his mind about his post-football life, as FOX Sports confirmed on an earnings call that he has an NFL analyst spot for him when he retires. Brady will reportedly join FOX’s new main team with Kevin Burkhardt after Joe Buck and Troy Aikman left for ESPN. That’s one way to respond to Tony Romo at CBS.

Former Patriots QB Tom Brady will become an analyst for FOX.

The elite quarterbacks of his day have chosen all sorts of different paths after their careers are over. While Brett Favre has largely stayed out of the spotlight, save for a few radio spots, Drew Brees has joined the NBC team as an analyst and broadcaster for Notre Dame. Peyton Manning has the production of him all over ESPN.

Brady will (likely) get a chance to call a Super Bowl in 2025 at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans. He missed out on this year’s Super Bowl, which is also broadcast on FOX. If he’s a third as good as a broadcaster as he was as a quarterback, FOX landed an A+ replacement for Buck and Aikman.

While making the transition to the broadcast booth can be challenging for some former players, Brady appears to be outgoing and sociable enough to make the switch without too much of a learning curve. Given Romo’s ratings success, bringing star quarterbacks out of retirement might be the formula for moving forward.

Brady might not be with the Buccaneers much longer if he already has a post-football career lined up like that. Patriots fans who were nervous about getting their Brady fix without him on the field no longer need to worry after this announcement.
