Mendoza is in custody and being held without bail, Krasner said during a Monday morning news conference, adding that it is normal that there is no bail given the severity of the charges.

Police say four plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the area near the 1700 block of Barbara Street around 7 p.m. March 1 when they spotted two minors on bicycles.

According to investigators, the officers noticed that one of the minors was armed with a gun and turned on the hazard lights to confront him. As police were getting out of the car, the armed minor, identified as Thomas “TJ” Siderio, fired a shot through the passenger side window, narrowly missing the officers.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, Pa. – A woman is facing attempted murder charges which will be upgraded to manslaughter in connection with an incident in Upper Makefield on Monday morning.

Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub held a news conference Monday afternoon and said Trinh T. Nguyen, 38, shot her two sons in the head at her home and then tried to shoot A neighbour.

The incidents occurred inside and outside Nguyen’s residence on Timber Ridge Road, Weintraub said.

Upper Makefield Township Police responded to the residence just after 7 a.m. Monday morning, according to the prosecutor.

Officers met with a neighbor who said Nguyen handed her a box of photos and asked her to give it to her ex-husband who she worked with, Weintraub said. When the neighbor turned to look at her, he saw a black revolver pointed at her face, according to the prosecutor.

According to authorities, Nguyen pulled the trigger, but the gun did not fire and the neighbor wrapped her in a bear hug to disarm her.

Authorities say she then fled the scene and authorities have issued an alert to locate her.

PHILADELPHIA – A Philadelphia man has been arrested and faces murder charges after he fatally shot his grandfather and another man who may be a relative in Logan.

Authorities say the scene of the double crime was discovered in the 4600 block of North Broad Street in the city’s Logan neighborhood at 4:42 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of a person with a weapon, authorities say.

According to police, the decomposed body of a person was found shot on the third floor of the residence and the body of a 45-year-old man was also found fatally shot in the house.

Investigators have learned that on April 28, Benjamin McMichael, 67, entered the room belonging to his grandson, Czar McMichael, 22, and complained about the condition, police say.

When Benjamin McMichael grabbed his grandson’s arm, Czar McMichael turned around and fatally shot him, according to police.
