As she has done on at least five occasions, on a Saturday or Sunday, during the current year, Claudia Sheinbaum traveled yesterday, this time to Hidalgo, in support of Julio Menchaca, candidate for Morena, PT and the local New Alliance for the governorship of that federal entity.
“Today I have requested permission to attend with my colleagues Layda Sansores and Indira Vizcaíno to support Julio Menchaca, the next governor of the state of Hidalgo,” the head of the Government of Mexico City posted yesterday on Twitter, at the point of the 10:03 a.m.
Along with the governors Sansores and Vizcaíno, from Campeche and Colima, respectively, Sheinbaum made use of the voice from the campaign bandstand:
“We come here as women, because imagine nothing else, out there they talk about misogyny. Do me a favor! They don’t even know what to say anymore. Julio is a man who has historically defended the just causes of women, women’s equality, and a while ago he told us that his cabinet will be equal”, said the president of the capital, referring to the statements of Carolina Viggiano, PRI candidate, PAN and PRD to the governorship, who does not lower his morenista contender as a misogynist.
On Saturday, February 26, Sheinbaum reported on social networks, at 6:12 in the morning, that that day he would be “at a meeting of governors in La Paz, Baja California Sur. In addition, we will sign an agreement with the municipal president of said capital. I have asked Martí Batres, Secretary of Government, to remain informed of the City”.
The following weekend, March 6, now on Sunday, he reported that he participated in the Municipalist Meeting, organized by Morena and held at the World Trade Center, but not that he had requested permission to attend the partisan event.
On April 3, at 8:06 a.m., he reported via Twitter: “Today I will be in Aguascalientes and Durango supporting my colleagues Nora Ruvalcaba and Marina Vitela (Morena’s candidates for governor of these states, respectively. Martí ” and the entire cabinet is in charge. I am attentive and in communication, “he assured.
Sheinbaum also traveled to Quintana Roo on April 24 to support Mara Lezama, Morena’s flag bearer for governor.
