Five people injured and one death is the balance of a fire in downtown Monterrey


Monterey, NL. This morning a fire occurred in a building in the center of Monterrey, where 16 people were injured, a woman lifeless, and two serious people reported Civil Protection of Nuevo León.

Firefighters from the City of Monterrey and State Civil Protection arrived at the scene, who confirmed a fire in two sales businesses.

They commented that in the basement of the building there were several rooms for rent which are inhabited.

The lifeless person is an 18-year-old girl, who was rescued, but no longer showed vital signs. Of the 18 people who were rescued, five were transferred to the hospital, two of them in critical condition, State Civil Protection explained to the media.
