Elements of the Marine Secretary They detained three men in Zapopan, Jalisco, of whom at least one is allegedly involved in the kidnapping of two elements of that Secretariat on November 19.
The three detainees are members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). The detained subject who is related to the kidnapping was identified as Manuel “N”.
He was arrested when he was traveling in a vehicle on Playa Blanca Poniente Street, between Severo Díaz and Avenida Moctezuma in Zapopan.
In the capture operation, elements of the Secretary of Marina aboard two helicopters and several artillery vehicles. Agents of the General Prosecutor of the Republic (FGR), who searched two homes, in one of which a kidnapped person and two other members of the CJNG.
The FGR relates the kidnapping of the two sailors on November 19 to a reaction on the part of the CJNG due to the re-apprehension of Rosalinda González Valencia, wife of the leader of that cartel, Nemesio Oceguera Cervantes “El Mencho”. The two elements were located alive by their Navy companions on November 20 in an operation in Zapopan.
On November 30, the Seventh District Court for Criminal Amparo in Mexico City granted a suspension to Laisha Michelle Oseguera González, daughter of Nemesio Oceguera, against the arrest warrant issued by a judge against her.
