The American designer Virgil Abloh died last Sunday 28 at 41 years of age after two years of fighting cancerr, a cardiac angiosarcoma. Since 2018, Abloh was the artistic director of the Louis Vuitton men’s line. Also, it was the founder of the Off-White brand.
Abloh is known for blur the line between high and low fashion. He mixed the tracksuit and pop culture and mainstream with glamor and tradition. The American was the architect of the remodeling that rejuvenated the French firm. In addition, he was one of the most influential black designers in the fashion industry.
The artistic director learned all about fashion the self-taught, although the basics came from the hand of his mother, a dressmaker from Ghana. Virgil Abloh studied Civil Engineering at the University of Wisconsin and earned a Master of Architecture from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
