Facebook Announces’ Pause ‘Development of Kids’ Version of Instagram

NEW YORK, United States | Facebook announced Monday to “pause” its work on a version of Instagram for those under 13, in response to criticism even before its launch in the name of children’s mental health.

Mark Zuckerberg’s group wants to take more time “to work with parents, experts and policy makers to demonstrate the value and need for this product,” the company said in a blog post.
