We leave the pandemic behind (the masks will be a kind of silent reminder and symbolic warning) and we find ourselves with the lack of transporters, fuel, chips, gas deficits and the filthy rise of electricity. A winter is announced to us that could become the prelude not of hell (because we will be cold), but of an icy chaos that will affect economies, daily life, human relationships. We will have to pay for the heating as a luxury and still thank you, as things are going. And perhaps we will not buy Christmas gifts, not because we are poorer or less materialistic, but because there will be nothing to give, except for books, earrings or artichokes of kilometer zero.
