A young Albertan is set to share the screen with Hollywood star Sandra Bullock this week in the Netflix movie. The unforgivable.
In the film, Bullock plays Ruth Slater, a woman released from prison in search of the little sister she was forced to leave behind.
8-year-old Neli Kastrinos from Edmonton will appear as the younger version of Bullock’s little sister in the film.
“I love acting, it’s a great passion for me,” said Kastrinos. “I really didn’t have to learn from anyone. I just grew it. “

Kastrinos said he became interested in acting after starring in his kindergarten Christmas play. Her family enrolled her with Mode Models, an Edmonton-based agency, and then with Vancouver-based Cue Management.
Kastrinos appeared in various commercials and commercials before getting a chance to film.
“I got my first (film) audition, which was to The unforgivable”Kastrinos explained.
“I didn’t know I was working with Sandra Bullock. So it was a big surprise for me when I got to the set. “

Kastrinos said that working with Bullock was an incredible experience.
“It was amazing working with her. It was so fun, ”Kastrinos said. “He always liked to make people laugh, he always told funny stories. She is so kind. “

He added that Bullock gave him a personalized gift after filming was finished.
“When we finished, I got into my trailer to pack, and what I saw on the counter was more than I could believe,” Kastrinos said.
“It was a beautiful black toy horse and a suffocating unicorn; it had a little note that said, ‘Hey little sister, it was an honor to be your big sister.’
The unforgivable will launch on Netflix on December 10.
