It felt like it came out of nowhere. The night seemed quite calm and the weather was pleasant. My son had just gone out to play with a friend. Then the wind picked up and suddenly it hailed! It was fun watching the kids running home through the windows.

There was a lot of thunder and lightning a little later and the rain continued into the night. I always love to see storms, so I enjoyed this one, even if it was unexpected.

I don’t think there is any chance of a surprise storm today. The temperature will be a little cooler today. The expected daytime high is 15 C. The wind will pick up around noon with gusts of up to 40 km / h.

There is a risk of frost tonight, so if you are still grabbing plants in your garden, cover them and keep them warm.

I have no complaints about tomorrow’s forecast. We expect a maximum of 20 C and mostly sunny skies.
