Edmonton weather: Last day of April may see some showers, it has me hoping for some May flowers

Currently, it’s 6 C at the Edmonton Blatchford station, with 6 km/h winds coming out of the east southeast.

Today is the last day of April. I’m always surprised by how fast this month goes by. It feels like I blinked and it’s the last day of the month.

It looks like we may see some April showers this afternoon but heading into tomorrow we’re seeing some gorgeous temperatures and some sunshine.

Hopefully, those showers bring some May, or June flowers, depending on when you get around to planting them. I don’t often get them out until after the May long weekend.
