Edmonton police are asking the public for help locating a vehicle whose occupants may have been involved in a deadly shooting.

On Saturday, detectives asked for clues in a double shooting Thursday night near 106th Street and 23rd Avenue that left one man wounded and another dead.

A suspicious black truck was seen in the area around the time of the shooting.

“Investigators believe that a black pickup truck, possibly a Dodge Ram, that was in the area at the time may be related to the shooting and they hope someone may have information about the vehicle,” police said in an appeal Saturday. evening.

Officers in southeast Edmonton responded to reports of a shooting around 9 p.m. Thursday. Two wounded men in their 20s were taken to hospital. One died from his injuries. The other man was later released.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone who has seen a black truck near 23rd Avenue and 109th Street between 8:30 and 9:15 pm on Thursday, should contact the police non-emergency line or Crime Stoppers.
