Dolly Parton has been very busy. What could she do next?

She donated a million dollars to fund vaccine research and wrote a thriller that will be released in the spring of 2022. Here are some (slightly implausible) ideas of what you can do next.

Evangelicals like to ask, “What would Jesus do?” But Dolly Parton fans have accepted this saying, that we really are running here: After donating $ 1 million to fund Modern vaccine research and writing a thriller with author James Patterson, set to premiere in Spring 2022, what? what will be the result of 75 years? -Old country-pop icon do next? Here are some ideas.

Launch a music streaming service

As one of the most prolific songwriters in history, and the woman who turned down Elvis when she wanted to record I will always love you because giving up his rights just wasn’t worth it: Parton’s fearsome business cunning (he only agreed to star in the 1980 film from 9 to 5 if he could write the theme song) he would stop a streaming giant like Spotify in their tracks.

Dolls dolls

In 2009, Dolly released an album called Barbie backwoods; the title track features her singing about putting on “too much makeup, too much hair.” Which begs the question: why hasn’t Dolly released a line of dolls in her image? They could be the dolls you never had as a child, like the Banjo Dolly or the Big Hair Dolly. Better yet: a Dollywood dollhouse (Dolly’s amusement park).

Create a new self-help church

A devout Christian, Dolly would never stray from God. But launching your own chain of megachurches? Kanye created Sunday Service, Justin Bieber attends Churchome. So what’s stopping Dolly? You better believe her fans would flock to get a life guide from Dolly Lama herself, especially when it comes to cheeky catchphrases: “the higher the hair, the closer to God,” she says.

Travel through space, but make it shine

Jeff Bezos can send William Shatner to the galaxy all he wants, but what the solar system needs is some stardust in the colors of the rainbow. Dolly’s space mission would be the most glamorous and powerful expedition known to mankind, and most appreciated by the masses, as it is universally loved. Plus, you could look down at Earth and know that you’ve made it a better place, for sure.
