“Only booster shots (or third doses), which optimize the effectiveness of the vaccine, will be offered at this site,” the West Island Health Network announced.

Dollard’s site is also an “appointment” site, which means you have to make an appointment to get another shot. (To make an appointment online, use the Health Click website. If you need to make an appointment by phone call 514-644-4545.)

The Dollard site, located at 12001 De Salaberry Blvd., first opened in March 2021 and closed last fall.

Dollard Mayor Alex Bottausci says the Civic Center’s central location, next to City Hall, makes it a convenient place for local residents to get vaccinated, as well as West Islanders from neighboring communities. .

“We have everything in one place and it is well located for CIUSSS staff. It is easily accessible not only for the public but also for the provision of services”.

Bottausci said the latest wave of Omicron cases led to the reopening of the Dollard site.

“With our Civic Center serving the community, it is our pleasure to make it available not only to the citizens of Dollard, but also to the surrounding cities.”

The entrance to the vaccination center is inside the Civic Center through Gate 5. (There is an access ramp for people with reduced mobility).

Since there is no waiting area inside, we recommend that you arrive no more than five minutes before your appointment.

The public is asked to park their vehicles in parking lot P2.

Those using public transportation can take the 208 bus to the Dollard Civic Center.

Dollard is the latest vaccination site to reopen in the entire West Island CIUSSS Territory .
