The giant of entertainment Disney published on Wednesday a quarterly net income of almost half that of last year in the same period, but announced a new increase in subscribers to its streaming platform Disney+.
The profit was 597 million dollars in the first quarter, down 46% over the same quarter of 2021, and well below what analysts expected.
While Disney + reached 137 million subscribers, 33% more in one year.
