Several websites of the Generalitat de Catalunya have suffered an unknown computer attack that has caused some of their services to not work.
The attack, recognized by the Conselleria de Polítiques Digitals, affects the communications hub of the Generalitat, and which can be seen on pages such as those that depend on the Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals (CCMA), such as TV-3 and Catalunya Ràdio . Both have chosen to put Twitter accounts on their covers and continue to report through these channels. The services of La Meva Salut have also been affected.
According to Polítiques Digitals, the necessary countermeasures have been activated by the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya, in the face of what is presumably a denial of service attack (DDOS), which occurs when thousands of computers try to connect to a server to reach to saturate it.
