Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer for Health Dr. Kieran Moore on Friday announced several new COVID-19 restrictions for the province in response to the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, including a 50 percent capacity limit on indoor spaces such as bars, restaurants and shopping centers. Moore also said that alcohol sales will be restricted after 10 p.m., while indoor meeting limits will be lowered to 10 and outdoor limits to 25.
