Nova Scotia is reintroducing some public health measures amid the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant, the province’s chief medical officer for health, Dr. Robert Strang, announced Monday. Mandatory physical distancing in public spaces, reduction of gathering sizes and mandatory masking are some of the measures that are being recovered, with the distancing requirement to return on December 17.
