Covid-19 in Mexico: SSa reports 3,478 cases and 325 more deaths

The Federal Health Secretariat reported this Saturday that Mexico accumulates 3 million 805,765 cases of Covid-19 and 288,276 deaths.

The federal agency reported 3,478 cases of Covid-19 and 325 more deaths than those reported on Friday, October 29.

The SSa indicated in its daily report of the pandemic in Mexico that the incidence rate of accumulated cases it is 2,950.8 per 100,000 inhabitants.

Regarding the distribution by sex in the confirmed cases of Covid-19 shows a predominance in women (50.1%).

The report details that the 10 entities that register the highest number of accumulated confirmed cases are: Mexico City, Mexico state, New Lion, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, Puebla, Veracruz, Sonora and San Luis Potosi. Together these entities make up more than two thirds (66%) of all accumulated cases registered in the country.

On the other hand, active cases, that is, those positive cases that started symptoms in the last 14 days, amount to 27,302, with an incidence rate of 21.2 per 100,000 inhabitants.

At the cut of this Saturday there is a figure of 13,495 suspicious deaths of Covid-19, which include those pending to be determined in the laboratory and those that are in the process of association-clinical-epidemiological judgment.

Regarding the distribution by sex in confirmed deaths, it shows a prevalence of 62% in men.
