COVID-19: All Latest Breast Cancer Deaths in Health Regions with Low Vaccination Rates

Health Minister Adrian Dix has said that more than 3,000 health workers are on leave without pay for defying a vaccination mandate.

Four of the five COVID-19 deaths reported Tuesday occurred in the Northern Health region, while the fifth was in Interior Health.

Those two health regions have the lowest vaccination rates in British Columbia.

There were 406 more cases of COVID-19 reported during the last day. There are currently 4,694 active cases of the disease, of which 445 are in hospital treatment, 137 of them in intensive cases.

A new outbreak has been recorded at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, as well as another at a hospital in Nanaimo, for a total of 41 outbreaks in British Columbia, most of them in long-term care facilities.

The province says that 90 percent of eligible residents ages 12 and older have received their first dose of vaccine and 85.4 percent of them are now fully vaccinated.
